Message You can do this test on the car using fuel instead of air but I think its easier and less messy with air and easier to remove from the car especially if the plenum is off.

Remove the fuel rails. Hook up one end to an air source and cap the other. I use a valve like a bike tire filler. Pressure the system. I use a pressure gauge but you can put it in a tub of water and watch for bubbles as well to see if its holding. If it holds air you know its sealed.

To test the injectors, while pressurized you can take a 9-volt battery and activate each injector one at a time. If it's working it will open and let the air/fuel out. Re-pressurize and do the next injector until you test them all.
